Avernus is an Extreme Demon created by PockeWindfish and verified by Zoink in 2023. It held the #1 position on the Demonlist before being surpassed by Tidal Wave. The level is one of Zoink's four top-1 verifications, along with Acheron, Tidal Wave, and Thinking Space II. Its punishing gameplay and tight corridors made it one of the most feared levels during its reign at the top.
